Toning is not lightening or darkening your hair, but it changes the TONE of your current hair.  

Pick a level of demi permanent color that is closest to what you already have, but if you're trying to get rid of orange in sun, pick something with a blue base.

Apply on damp hair.

Dry bleached hair can soak up toner way faster than recommended time.
